1. Sukrat's Use of Third-Party Content

1.1 Exam Board Materials

Sukrat's question corpus includes publicly available past examination questions, mark schemes, and examiner reports from:

  • Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) — Cambridge O Level, AS Level, and A Level
  • International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) — IB Diploma Programme

These materials are the intellectual property of their respective exam boards. Sukrat works to ensure its use of publicly available examination materials complies with applicable intellectual property law and the terms of use of each examination board. Where our use of specific materials may require licensing or additional authorization, we work proactively to obtain appropriate rights. These materials are not redistributed as standalone commercial products.

If you are a representative of CAIE, IBO, or another rights holder and have questions or concerns about our use of materials, please contact us at legal@sukrat.ai and we will address your concern promptly.

1.2 Original Content

All AI-generated content, platform design, user interface, mastery algorithms, curriculum knowledge graph, and software code are original works owned by or licensed to Sukrat AI Inc. and protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

2. Your Content

If you submit content to the platform — such as notes, feedback, or curriculum materials uploaded through a school deployment — you represent that:

  • You own or have the right to submit that content
  • Submitting it does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights
  • You are not submitting content that is protected by copyright without authorization

By submitting content, you grant Sukrat a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Sukrat service, as described in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. Repeat Infringers

Sukrat will terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights in appropriate circumstances.

4. DMCA Takedown Notices

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent) and believe that content on the Sukrat platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated agent.

4.1 Designated Copyright Agent

Email: legal@sukrat.ai
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice
Company: Sukrat AI

Note: To qualify for DMCA safe harbor protections under 17 U.S.C. § 512, a designated agent must be registered with the US Copyright Office. Sukrat is in the process of completing this registration. Rights holders may submit notices to the email above in the interim.

4.2 Required Information

Your notice must include all of the following (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works)
  3. Identification of the material on our platform you claim is infringing — include the URL or a specific description of its location
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

Incomplete notices may not be acted upon. We will respond to valid notices within a reasonable time.

5. Counter-Notices

If you believe that content you submitted was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice.

5.1 How to Submit a Counter-Notice

Send your counter-notice to legal@sukrat.ai with the subject line DMCA Counter-Notice. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Sukrat may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, Sukrat will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the content within 10–14 calendar days (as required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2)(C)) unless the complainant notifies us they have filed a court action.

6. Good Faith

Submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice with knowingly false information may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).

7. Other IP Concerns

For trademark infringement, patent concerns, or any other intellectual property issue not covered by a DMCA notice, please contact us at legal@sukrat.ai with a description of your concern.
