1. Subscription Model

Sukrat offers monthly and annual subscription plans, billed in advance. All subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and renew automatically unless cancelled.

You can view and manage your subscription — including cancellation — from your account settings at any time.

2. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings under Billing.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to the platform until that date.
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier (if available) or becomes inactive. Your learning data and mastery history are retained for 90 days after cancellation, after which your account may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period.

3. Refunds

3.1 General Policy

Sukrat subscriptions are non-refundable except in the circumstances described below. Because the platform provides immediate access to digital content upon purchase, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, partial use, or unused days in a billing period.

3.2 Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

CircumstanceOutcome
Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same subscription periodFull refund of the duplicate charge
Charge after confirmed cancellation — you were billed after cancelling before the renewal dateFull refund of the erroneous charge
Significant service outage — the platform was unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid periodPro-rated credit applied to your next billing period
Statutory right to refund — applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants you a cancellation rightRefund issued as required by law

3.3 No Refund Circumstances

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date
  • Not using the platform during a paid period
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content accuracy
  • Failure to achieve expected academic results
  • Change of exam board, school year, or curriculum
  • Technical issues caused by your own device, browser, or internet connection

3.4 Annual Plan Pro-Ration

If you cancel an annual subscription within the first 14 days of a new annual billing period and have completed fewer than 3 tutoring sessions during that period, we will consider a pro-rated refund on a case-by-case basis. Contact legal@sukrat.ai with your account email and reason for the request.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email legal@sukrat.ai with:

  1. The email address associated with your Sukrat account
  2. The date and amount of the charge in question
  3. A brief description of the reason for your request

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly.

6. Free Trials

If Sukrat offers a free trial period, you will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and the applicable fee will be charged. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

EU and UK consumers: Under applicable consumer law (including the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations), you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase. However, once you have accessed and actively begun using the platform — for example, by completing an assessment or starting a tutoring session — you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the service, and this statutory withdrawal right no longer applies. If you have not accessed the platform at all within 14 days of purchase, contact legal@sukrat.ai to request a refund under this right.

All other statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction remain unaffected by this policy.
